Wolfpack Fights Off Late Run To Advance to BCL Tournament Championship

CM defeated BCL by a score of 6 to 5 in the semifinals of the the BCL Tournament. BCL made a late run, scoring 3 runs in the last inning with 1 out and tying run on second and the winning run at first, only to make CM make a pitching change. The Wolfpack's next pitcher got the first out on a ground ball to 3rd, having the 3rd baseman step on third for the force at 3rd getting the second out. Next batter came up and got hit by the pitch moving the runners up a base, having the tying run 80 feet away and winning run at second, but that would not affect CM's pitcher as he mowed down the next batter for BCL with a K looking. Canon Mac is now on a 3 game win streak moving on to the championship, which will be played tomorrow at 7:30 pm at Simmons Memorial Park in the Municipality of Bethel Park.
